Fucking identity… I lost hundreds of dollars on that scam… Having flashbacks, not sure I can watch this video LOL Edit: I will say the 1st module was much better in 2018, that was sorta the problem they seemed to spend ALL their time on this module, and creating beautiful assets. Designing the house, going to the cinema and art gallery and putting RUclips on your in-apartment TV was sorta the only things in the game. Was 19 or 20 and I was stupid and I believed them, I defended them because I couldn’t believe it was a scam. Maybe the stuff was locked behind an account, & you can access it but I remember accessing it and I liked the 1st module and trusted them that it was a sign of things to come but I was wrong, everyone else was right and it was all a scam. Also, I could swear there were more than 2 people… I’m shocked that were only 2 people, and the guy bought a house. I was really young and invested a few hundred dollars on my own account and roughly 100 in an early access account for my spouse so we could play together… Sad… Left such a bad taste in my mouth I’ve never ever invested into another game again. Double edit: I just logged into my old account, it’s all still there and working, everything I paid for and did as if it’s still a real game… including an update from the main dev from 2022, saying they’ve rebuilt the game (for apparently the 3rd time) in EU5 and it’s mostly fully functional and tested with 400 players, and almost ready for release. Then some crap about disabling donations, stopping steam sales, etc. but nothing has materialised another 2 years later… if I read this in 2022, I *may* have believed it… I was so embarrassed I fell for this scam. I’m not anymore so I can accept it and see it for what it was…

It’s not review bombing if people are actually criticizing something in the game. It’s a bunch of legit angry reviews. People are getting fed up with excessive monitization. If you’re reviewing a product, the financial side factors in. Corporate buzzwords don’t negate that

Whenever I forget about the incompetence of Games Journalists, something new happens to remind me why they suck. A game I love from one of my favorite game series and developers that is 100+ hours long received a review using nothing but footage or references from the first 5 hours, constantly gets lore horribly incorrect (main character's backstory, the setting of the world,) and mentions that the game's story never builds to anything and there are tons of gaps in stuff (again, first five hours of a 100 hour game, that is also a sequel.)

Yeah i think a bit of a similar "soulslike" (if you can call it that) that gets the game play pretty different to the from soft games is Grime. The athmosphere and artstyle is kinda dark and stuff in that way similar to those games but its still unique from them. Id like to say that the build variety in grime isnt that big To be fair idk if metroidvanias can be called soulslike, like for some reason Hollow knight has that tag???
